Mannering, a 2015 graduate of Harvard University, brings deep expertise in implementing and scaling financial operations for emerging businesses. He will work alongside Janelle Gorman, CFO, to help build sound financial foundations for York IE’s Advisory as a Service clients and portfolio companies.

“Jim’s experience makes him a great complement to Janelle in building a sound financial foundation for our clients — and for York IE as well,” York said.

Mannering will also be responsible for:

  • assisting companies with forecasting, scenario modeling, performance analytics, metrics and investor presentations;
  • creating and maintaining relevant and reliable models, projections and other collateral;
  • supporting strategic initiatives such as process improvement and system implementation; and
  • producing templates and playbooks for York IE’s advisory library.

Mannering was recently CFO and board member at Rodeo CPG, which provides retail sales, supply chain and operations support for emerging brands in the world of consumer packaged goods. He briefly ran Lamson Consulting, a practice that provided financial, managerial and operational advisory services for growing businesses.

Mannering also spent time in the management consulting practice at KPMG, providing project management and FP&A services related to enterprise-level software implementation projects.
