Luke Benfield is an account manager at York IE in the advisory services practice. Luke works to help multiple startups share their foundational messages and increase their brand presence and exposure through drumbeat marketing. He helps their teams with marketing strategy and planning, content creation, public relations, and more to help them achieve their growth goals.
Prior to joining the team at York IE, Luke spent four years at the third-largest Planet Fitness franchises, operating over 100 locations throughout seven states and two Canadian provinces (including opening the first in the New Brunswick region). During this time, he handled the day-to-day marketing operations for each location, coordinated digital and traditional media, oversaw creative and design for campaigning, managed external brand partnerships and furthered his experience in branding and promotional campaigns for both new and existing locations while operating within a franchise model.
Luke grew up in North Carolina and has a BS in business administration and marketing from North Carolina State University.
