York IE Hires New Account Manager: Luke Benfield

I know I’m not the first to say this (well, maybe with this terminology), but I am absolutely stoked to be joining the team at York IE as the newest account manager!

I have always dreamed of making an impact and being a part of something truly groundbreaking and disruptive. York IE is doing just that by reshaping the way startups are built, scaled, and monetized. When you hear everyone on the team talk about the work they are doing, fueled by an incredible drive to help others succeed, it’s impossible not to get fired up and want to be a part of it. I look forward to growing with and learning from some of the most talented individuals you could fit in the same room.

I started my marketing career at a small consulting agency in Savannah, Ga. that specialized in content creation, public relations, and media. Since then, I have been fortunate to have roles that have given me exposure to and experience in a wide breadth of marketing initiatives, from planning and strategy to digital and traditional media, with even more in between. I focused on new product launches, point of sale purchases, and recurring revenue services for both B2B and B2C.

Most recently I honed my skills at one of the largest Planet Fitness franchises operating 108 locations throughout seven states and two Canadian provinces (opening the first Planet Fitness in New Brunswick), while also learning to structure branding and promotional campaigns and strategies within a franchise model. I gained first-hand exposure to the client-side of marketing and developed strong relationships with media agencies and external brand partners. I pride myself on developing honest working relationships that foster a sense of deep trust for myself and the service I provide, built on delivering proven, measurable results.

I’m attracted to creative approaches, compelled by data and research, and have an intrinsically competitive spirit. I want to make a lasting impact in my work and for the brands I represent. I am passionate about helping entrepreneurs and startups reach their goals and strategically grow their brands, so I can’t imagine a more perfect place to be than York IE.

I know it’s early into my tenure, but it’s already obvious to me that being a part of this team is truly something special and I cannot wait to really get going, make an impact, and see what the future holds for York IE and all of our partners.

So yeah, back to my initial point: I’M ABSOLUTELY STOKED.
