Introducing a new platform for strategic growth

York IE Partners with YourExponent.io to Help Startups Find Finance Leaders

(Manchester, N.H., Sept. 6) — York IE, a vertically integrated strategic growth and investment firm, today announced a new partnership with YourExponent.io, a marketplace for growth-minded employers to find finance and accounting professionals.

Through the partnership, Exponent will connect York IE’s portfolio companies and advisory services clients with high-caliber finance and accounting talent. Additionally, Exponent’s clients will have access to York IE’s hands-on business growth services.

“Talent drives startups — and having the right finance and accounting talent plays a huge role in a company’s ability to efficiently scale,” said Janelle Gorman, CFO at York IE. “In today’s hiring climate, however, it can be difficult for companies to find that talent. We are excited to partner with Exponent to help our startups find the finance and accounting leaders who will move their businesses forward.”

YourExponent.io was founded by public accountants and self-proclaimed finance nerds who previously built high-growth companies and recognize that the current recruitment model is broken.

“The right professionals exponentially unlock business growth opportunity. The wrong professionals create ceilings,” said Scott Campbell, co-founder of Exponent. “The environment to find those right professionals has materially changed over the past few years. We’re using data science and technology, along with raw first-hand experience, to build a next-generation solution.”

“York IE shares our feelings about talent acquisition,” said JoAnna Muenks, director of sponsor partnership at Exponent. “It is not filling a job req; it is finding the right person to help accelerate your business.”
