York IE, a vertically integrated strategic growth and investment firm, announced today that Kara Banosian is now an investment partner and advisor for digital marketing within the York IE portfolio.
Kara, vice president, acquisition marketing at LogMeIn, comes with an esteemed reputation as a passionate marketing leader with a strategic vision that delivers tangible results. She has a keen sense of identifying gaps and opportunities in achieving sales targets, while never hindering the creative aspects that go into a successful campaign.
With Kara’s experience, her advisory role will be focused on digital marketing in helping to identify smart approaches to communicating with customers. While digital marketing has always been important since COVID-19 almost all of marketing has become digital. This has led to greater competition for prospects and customers, which puts greater importance on doing digital marketing really well. Kara’s ethos has always been to have compassion, empathy, and a focus on service and building connections.
“We are thrilled to have Kara join the extended York IE family,” said Kyle York, CEO, and co-founder of York IE. “Kara is hardwired for marketing mastery in the B2B SaaS space, and it’s an advantage our entrepreneurs will have on their side. I also love the fact that she’s a fellow Bentley grad!”

During that time, Kara developed and led a team that spanned multiple products and encompassed product marketing, demand generation, and customer marketing.
