Introducing a new platform for strategic growth

York IE Teams Up with NH Tech Alliance to Connect Global Tech Talent Living in New Hampshire

Joint initiative aims to create New Hampshire community of tech talent from companies around the world

(Aug. 20, Manchester, N.H.) — York IE, a hybrid strategic advisory, investment, and operational growth firm, and the New Hampshire Tech Alliance today announced a new initiative to bring NH-based technology executives and talent together from organizations across the globe. The collective efforts will result in a new community of individuals who live in New Hampshire and represent technology companies from all over the world, providing them with the opportunity to be a true part of the New Hampshire technology community and help the ecosystem continue to flourish.

“Governor Sununu said it best – it’s no surprise that people are flocking to New Hampshire to live and work. Not only do we have the benefit of a tax friendly environment for residents, we are creating a unique type of career and life opportunity here in the Live Free or Die state,” said Kyle York, CEO and cofounder of York IE. “The New Hampshire Advantage has fostered people from all walks of life, and our work with the New Hampshire Tech Alliance aims to bring these people together to further advance technology conversations nearby that may not otherwise happen.”

While the COVID-19 pandemic dramatically increased the number of employees working from home across the globe, New Hampshire has historically been home base for many top technology executives. New Hampshire was ranked as the number two best state in the nation in 2019 by U.S. News & World Report and the fifth best state to both find a job and raise a family by WalletHub that same year. These heads of global organizations live and work in New Hampshire, but don’t have the connected community that other organizations based in New Hampshire thrive upon. York IE and the NH Tech Alliance will bridge that gap, bringing these executives and other top tech talent working in New Hampshire together to have a more active voice in the NH community. For the NH community, these tech leaders have tremendous networks, often angel invest, and could be future founders or fast growth tech execs for the next wave of NH companies.

“The mission of the New Hampshire Technology Alliance is to unite NH’s tech professionals and provide an environment where collaborations can flourish,” said Julie Demers, Executive Director, NH Tech Alliance. “We are advancing that mission with this new initiative with York IE, developing a community to provide a voice for NH-based individuals that haven’t had the opportunity to do so in this capacity previously.”

This new community will offer virtual meetups and, in the future, in-person networking events, in order to foster conversations and collaborations while shining a spotlight on the technology talent that calls NH home. Requirements for membership will include contact information, employment information and proof of NH residency (either full-time or part-time via a second home).
