Curtis Charles Joins York IE as an Advisor

(Manchester, N.H., July 13, 2021) — York IE, a vertically integrated strategic growth and investment firm, announced today that Curtis Charles is a new portfolio advisor, focusing on go-to-market and business development into large consumer and consumer packaged goods companies.

As the managing partner and CEO of FFB Collaboration, a full-service cultural marketing and commercial strategy agency, Charles helps companies monetize their business opportunities by unlocking a variety of strategic retail partnerships and brand growth alignments, and by integrating concepts to connect with the millennial, Gen Z and multicultural consumer.

In a digital world, relationships and networks have become increasingly important channels for sales. Additionally, understanding your audience and personas and delivering them tailored messages is critical in breaking through the noise and creating memorable experiences. Charles will help York IE’s portfolio companies by leveraging his years of experience with consumer brands, go-to-market, business development and partnerships, and through his deep involvement with minority-led companies and leadership.

Prior to running FFB Collaboration, Charles spent 11 years at PUMA Group, most recently as senior vice president, North America and head of the wholesale division. Before that, he was vice president of strategy at Cole Haan. Charles is also an advisor for Bain & Company and on the board of directors of YORK Athletics Mfg., a collective venture of York Creative Collective.
