York IE Hires New Account Manager: Kate Jones

I am thrilled to be joining the team at York IE and was immediately drawn in upon hearing their mission: to reshape how startups are built – teaming up with entrepreneurs to drive success, grow their businesses, and exceed expectations.  Listening to the stories of how the team came together at York IE, the passion was palpable, and I wanted in. 

A career dream of mine – building my own business – came to fruition in 2017. The adventure of building and designing something of your own that inspires passion and excitement is unparalleled. As an entrepreneur, you face obstacles and tough decisions, but ultimately, the rewards can be extraordinary.  

As co-founder of our digital marketing company, I launched goals-based marketing campaigns for clients expanding brand reach in target markets, oversaw marketing budgets, project financials, and P&L to drive year-over-year profit growth. Additionally, I oversaw all marketing campaign components including creative design, CRM, content creation, copywriting, paid advertising, SEO, and PPC. I designed and constructed websites and social media profiles, bolstering digital marketing tools and platforms. Perhaps most critically, collaborating with key stakeholders to align outputs with vision for optimal brand positioning.  

Both Fidelity and BNYMellon provided a solid business foundation early in my career. I was fortunate to have great mentors along the way who provided guidance and wisdom. In each of my roles, I worked closely with clients, fostering relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce goals-based, unified messaging strategies.

I write with enthusiasm and anticipation for what is to come. Looking ahead, the idea of working with entrepreneurs, hearing their stories, and helping to bring their vision into focus, brings me great excitement. I look forward to stepping into York IE and calling upon my experience of connecting with diverse teams, orchestrating brand transformations that drive revenue growth, enhancing engagement, and positioning firms as market leaders within their field.
