York IE Hires Client Services Executive to Help Fast-Growing Companies Scale

(Manchester, N.H., Feb. 28) — It’s a major challenge for fast-growing companies to keep all areas of their business aligned. But it’s a must if they want to scale sustainably.

York IE, a vertically integrated strategic growth and investment firm for technology companies, today announced it has hired former Fastly and Oracle executive Matt Toy as vice president, client services. In this role, Toy will help the firm’s Advisory as a Service clients and portfolio companies access the operational expertise they need, in the areas where they need it most.

Toy will serve as the primary executive contact for clients and lead the new client services organization, whose primary goal is to act as the connective tissue between York IE’s various lines of business, including the firm’s four Advisory as a Service practice areas:.

  • Corporate Strategy and FP&A
  • Product Strategy and Development
  • Brand Strategy and Marketing Communications
  • Go-To-Market Strategy and Revenue Operations

Toy brings more than two decades of career experience to York IE. He joins the firm from edge computing provider Fastly, where he was most recently assistant vice president, account management.

He previously worked with York IE’s founders and other team members over more than seven years at Dyn and Oracle, where he served in a variety of customer experience and account management roles. He first met York IE CEO Kyle York when they worked together at EdTech startup WhippleHill in the mid- to late-2000s.
